The Sri Lanka Community Development Centre (CDC) works to preserve, conserve, and expand the cultivation of indigenous root and tuber crops and promote the sharing of direct and indirect benefits, generate livelihoods, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge through seed banks.
In 2008, CDC won the Equator Prize which is awarded biennially to recognize outstanding community efforts to reduce poverty through the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity. This video was created as part of their Biodiversity for Local Livelihoods project.

My efforts are to encouraged entire Sri Lankan people to Eat & Drink local stuff and make them available every corner of this tiny island with the international touch
